’60 Minutes’ Blasted for Upcoming Marjorie Taylor Greene Interview

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is scheduled to be the following large visitor on ’60 Minutes’ this weekend … and Twitter certain ain’t comfortable about it.

The controversial Georgia congresswoman was tapped as one of many large interviews on the weekly journal information program, with none apart from Lesley Stahl taking up the problem of speaking to her on digicam. The official ’60 Minutes’ account teased their time collectively.

Their description of MTG was weirdly flattering … no less than that is what number of took it, and it left loads of of us bitter. ’60 Minutes’ writes of Rep. Greene, “Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, nicknamed MTG, isn’t afraid to share her opinions, regardless of how intense and in-your-face they’re. She sits down with Lesley Stahl this Sunday on 60 Minutes.”

After all, political pundits and journos on the chook app have been crying foul for the previous 24 hours … brazenly questioning why CBS would assume it’ a good suggestion to take a seat down with Greene.

The rationale they’re asking, after all, is as a result of MTG has, at instances, apparently proven assist for the Jan. 6 revolt, displayed transphobia, advocated for a brand new nationwide secession … and continued to assist President Trump, amongst many different points.

For her half, Greene really signaled that the interview went effectively … shouting out Stahl for being a trailblazer in journalism, and for giving her honest questions. MTG wrote, “It was an honor to spend a couple of days with the legendary icon Leslie (sic) Stahl and proficient crew @60Minutes. Leslie (sic) is a trailblazer for girls in journalism. And whereas we might disagree on some points, I respect her tremendously. Tune in tomorrow 7 pm ET on CBS.”
