Girl Gaga in Full Costume & Make-up As Harley Quinn in ‘Joker 2’

Girl Gaga is prepared for her closeup within the DCU — she was on set this weekend for the brand new ‘Joker 2’ film … and he or she’s wanting fairly clownish as Mr. J’s right-hand lady.

The singer and a ton of extras have been readily available Saturday morning in NYC, the place director Todd Phillips and co. have been capturing a scene for the forthcoming sequel to 2019’s ‘Joker.’ As you’ll have heard by now, Gaga signed on to painting Harley Quinn … and right here she is.

Certainly … LG could possibly be seen in her full costume and make-up because the Clown Prince of Gotham’s famed love curiosity, and in these photographs — she’s coming down some courthouse steps amid what seems to be a large (staged) protest … with “Gotham Metropolis” cops in every single place.

From the seems of it … Gaga’s Harley may be very very similar to Joaquin Phoenix‘s Joker — particularly, fairly lifelike and never so cartoon-y … in contrast to different depictions of the characters in DC movies.

In fact, with Gaga’s model of HQ now out … the comparisons between her take and Margot Robbie‘s iteration are going to start out flying in movie circles. MR has been enjoying Harley Quinn for some time now (3 movies, really) … and her portrayal has been well-received.

Based mostly on what we will glean from these images (and this vibe), nevertheless, one thing tells us Gaga’s Harley may, maybe, be somewhat darker … and perhaps even rather less giggly.

Time will inform … we’ll simply have to attend and see when the flick comes out in Oct. 2024.

BTW, one final statement … the very many background actors working as we speak seem to have had their grievances heard in terms of toilet breaks. As we reported … plenty of the extras have been pissed they have been having to work lengthy hours with out getting an opportunity to whizz.

Peep all of the porta potties lining the streets … because the actors stroll by. There’s greater than sufficient stalls for everybody to empty their bladders … and one man even exercised his proper!
