Magic Johnson could quickly be including the title of NFL proprietor to his legacy … the NBA icon is a part of a gaggle that simply submitted a proposal to purchase the Washington Commanders that meets Dan Snyder‘s asking worth.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Lakers Corridor of Famer, alongside 76ers proprietor Josh Harris and billionaire Mitchell Rales, formally submitted a $6 billion bid to purchase the franchise on Tuesday.
The event is substantial … as a result of Snyder — who revealed in late 2022 that he was exploring promoting the Commanders — had been reportedly searching for $6 billion for his membership … which may imply a sale to the Johnson/Harris/Rales group is now imminent.
The transfer would spell dangerous information for Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z … as the 2 titans had large curiosity in shopping for the Commanders, even grabbing dinner in L.A. again in November to formulate a possible buy plan.
