Pastor Ben Hayes, who serves because the chaplain for the Dadeville Police Division and for the native highschool soccer staff, stated many of the victims have been teenagers. He stated the capturing occurred at a birthday celebration for a 16-year-old, and the violence has shaken the small city the place critical crime is uncommon.
“One of many younger males that was killed was certainly one of our star athletes and only a nice man. So I knew many of those college students. Dadeville is a small city and that is going to have an effect on all people on this space,” Hayes stated.
Hayes stated households had swarmed the native hospital Saturday evening looking for solutions and the situation of their youngsters. He added that critical crime is uncommon in Dadeville, and the small metropolis is “unhappy, traumatized, in shock.”
