Money App founder Bob Lee fatally stabbed, police make arrest

An arrest has been made within the investigation into the April 4 murder of tech government Bob Lee, an official mentioned.

Lee, Money App creator and chief product officer of cryptocurrency firm MobileCoin, died after an obvious stabbing in downtown San Francisco within the early morning hours of April 4, the San Francisco Police Division mentioned final week.

San Francisco Board President Aaron Peskin mentioned the suspect was apprehended in Emeryville, a San Francisco suburb, the AP reported. He was not instructed the suspect’s title.

“I hope as we speak’s arrest can start a means of therapeutic and closure for all these touched by this tragedy,” Matt Dorsey, one other San Francisco supervisor, tweeted.

How did Bob Lee die?

In line with an April 6 information launch from the San Francisco Police Division, police responded to a reported stabbing at round 2:35 a.m. April 6 – and located a 43-year-old man, later recognized as Lee, “affected by obvious stab wounds.”

Lee was taken to a close-by hospital the place, regardless of life-saving efforts, he later died.
